She quickly covered up her face, running towards a desk at the far edge of the room in embarrassment, Natsuki chuckling to herself at the nervous fatty. “H-h… Huh?” Sayoria asked, blushing wildly, rubbing her gut in surprise. In fact, I think you look better with a belly~” Yet much to her surprise, Monika just… Laughed. She did just stop the bullying, but… It was still a fear she might even get berated. “S-sorry, I uh… J-just didn’t have anything for lunch!” Sayori mentioned, hoping that Monika wouldn’t start poking fun at her like Natsuki. She quickly put the cupcakes she had left uneaten back, and rubbed her head nervously.

She was in such a hurry to eat them that she completely forgot Monika was right behind her, and suddenly turned with a face full of cupcakes and frosting, belly dangling underneath her awkwardly. Sayori smiled and dashed to the pile before stuffing them all into her mouth one after the other. Natsuki didn’t acknowledge this change, merely letting out a frustrated grumble while leaving Sayori to the cupcakes. “Oh, don’t worry about that, Natsuki, there’s plenty of cupcakes there!” Monika smiled, both of them now staring at the once humble platter of cupcakes, now suddenly replaced with a towering stack of them. “I don’t want her eating all of my cupcakes before everyone else gets here!” “No problems, Monika… Other than Sayori gaining a ton of weight!” Natsuki mentioned.

It was enough for Natsuki to back down, crossing her arms. Monika’s presence was intimidating and strict, though calming and reassuring much like a disappointed mother. Both Sayori and Natsuki looked over and saw Monika standing in the doorway, stepping closer to Natsuki. “Is there a problem?” A voice called from the door.

“Haha! That’s it, beg for your food, pig!” Natsuki just laughed in the pathetic pig’s face. “N-no, please! I didn’t eat any lunch, I’m so hungry, just let me eat one!” Sayori’s stomach growled, and she couldn’t hold it back anymore! She reached out desperately, pleading with Natsuki who held her back with a single hand. “Better than YOU eating anything up, that’s for sure! Seriously, maybe I shouldn’t give you any of my cupcakes, fatty!” Natsuki sneered smugly, body-blocking the tray of her daily cupcakes which she often brought to the club. “I-I knew it was too noticeable! Everyone’s been staring, but not saying anything… It’s eating me up!” “Wow, Sayori! What’s with the gut, did you go ham at a buffet or something?” Natsuki wondered, reaching over and poking her stomach. That is, until it was time for her to go to the Literature Club, where Natsuki was quick to pick up on Sayori’s larger side. Even during lunch she refused to eat anything, worried of how her peers might mock her for being a pig, and despite how loudly her stomach was rumbling she was able to power through the entire day. Drawing attention to herself was the last thing she wanted to do, so she did her best to keep herself small and secluded. Sayori pouted, but there was very little she could do about it. It was only out of politeness that nobody said anything, though she could hear some snickers at the back of class from people she was certain were making fun of her. After all, she was normally so svelte and slender, to see her with such an abundance of fat, no matter how little, was a drastic change compared to her normal appearance. She hadn’t enough time to find new clothes, and therefore had to make do, hoping that it wasn’t as noticeable as she thought it was.Īll throughout the day at school, nobody brought up her lightly exposed belly, but she felt as though everyone was staring at her subconsciously. At first she assumed it just shrank, or maybe she grew a bit, but her paunchy belly told a separate story. She had packed on a significant amount of weight, only noticed when she put on her outfit and found it fit much less comfortably than before. Sayori had started the day off with a big surprise.
